Can’t believe it’s already been a year<3

One of the many reasons why i love Target. They offer a variety of cute, cheap & affordable products. I had originally wanted this bag but it was sold out in stores everywhere. Last night during a late night run to Target for some snacks with the bf, I stumbled upon the bag on clearance for $25 (down from $40). However, when they rung it up.. it came out to only $9.99. Now that is what I call a steal. I left a very happy camper :)

Lately, Calv & I have been falling asleep to the food channel so I often find myself waking up hungry as hell. Since Monday is usually a slow day at work, I had time to browse through recipes online until I finally found one I wanted to try out. I settled on making baked breaded pork chops with gravy along with some mashed potatoes :) It was my first time baking pork chops and it turned out wonderfully. The breaded crumbs was a great balance to the tenderness of the pork. It was such an easy recipe too! And it only took me about 40 minutes including prep time. Definitely going to start cooking for Calv & I more often :)

Despite getting into a heated argument and me ignoring him while studying with my headphones blasted, when I finally cooled down and turned around, to my surprise he was nowhere to be found! Turns out that he stepped outside for a walk and stopped by Starbucks to get me my favorite drink just because he knew I was craving for it<3 Then because he knew I was hungry he went to the kitchen to cook me dinner. What more could a girl ask for?! I feel so lucky to have someone so patient and kind. I know at times I can be a lot to handle, and I mean a lot.. Stress gets to me easily and considering that it’s midterms week, i’m bound to be a bit crazy. But despite all of that, he’s still so incredibly patient with me, never raises his voice and always tries to reason with me instead of fighting. I don’t know how I got so lucky<3

He’s even the one to get me my job at the law attorneys office. I had told him that I wanted an office job, and he called around and got me an interview the very next day! And I love my job! It’s a great learning opportunity, and also opens so many new doors for me. It’s a great way to network and I could still work for them even after I graduate. Not to mention, everyone treats each other like family. It doesn’t seem fitting to call it “work”. For Christmas this year, the boss told us we were having our Christmas Dinner in VEGAS. I’m so excited. He’s booking everyone a room at Mirage and we’re allowed to bring one guest. I cannot wait!! :)

Making another trip up north with the boyfriend in two weeks! I cannot wait! :) Nothing compares to being back at home<3 This time, my mom suggested that we all go to SF to show Calvin around and go shopping. Who am I to argue with that? :) Calvin was actually the one to suggest going back up north in the first place, I think it’s cause he always gets so spoiled when he’s around my family. I’m glad that they all love him though :) Nothing makes me happier<3 It’s only been the first week of classes and I’m already swamped with homework, quizzes, and projects! This trip up north will be just what I need, a mini getaway<3
